Deanna’s Story
See a problem. Solve a problem. I suffered from psoriasis and eczema for much of my life. My daughter was born with eczema as well. I tried many prescriptions and over-the-counter products on the market to relieve our itchy skin, but none were effective.
As a former nurse with a background in healthcare and wound care, I started researching what we were putting on our skin that could be causing our skin irritations. I read product labels and researched ingredients used in many beauty products. It was a real eye-opener. I was shocked to learn about the negative effects of ingredients like propylene glycol, parabens, hardening agents, phthalates and much more.
I knew there had to be a better alternative, so I started experimenting with natural skin care products made with coconut oil, shea butter, aloe and olive oil. Soon after, my daughter and I started to see real results. I was on to something life-changing and decided to use my skin care journey to help others as well.
In 2009, I opened Naples Soap Company in a 300 sq. foot shop in Naples, Florida.
Today, Naples Soap Company is health & wellness brand with over 600 product skus. We operate 12 retail stores throughout Florida and sell direct through our website. We also distribute our products to retailers and spas throughout the United States.

We leave out the harmful additives - we’ve dubbed as ”Badditives,” and replaced them with clean, trusted ingredients, highlighted by subtle, delightful scents that even the most sensitive skin users can enjoy.
What began as a personal mission to soothe my family’s skin became my mission and commitment to create products that nourish, calm, and protect. it’s truly an honor to have these products welcomed into your home and trusted with your skin.
