A memory popped up in my social media feed the other day of an anonymous quote that I had shared several years ago that read, “Sometimes our lives have to be completely shaken up, changed and rearranged to relocate us to the place where we are meant to be.” That quote struck a chord with me back then and certainly applies to today.

2021 had its fill of shake-ups and challenges, but it was also filled with growth, new relationships and opportunities. We stayed very busy with product innovations and expansion plans that yielded some exciting results.

This past year, we added over 40 new products, including Vitamin C Face Care, SPF Face Care, a complete line of fragrance-focused Gift Sets, Honey Almond Body Care, and more.

In the summer of 2021, we took the most significant leap in our company’s history. Naples Soap Company went public through a reverse merger with GNS Group (OTC: GNSG). We are in the process of changing our parent company name and trading symbol to better align with the Naples Soap Company name.

We also announced a variety of expansion plans, including a new 20,000 square foot warehouse and corporate headquarters. This facility will open in the second quarter of 2022 and will quadruple our size to better accommodate the fulfillment of our e-commerce, wholesale and store orders.

Speaking of store orders, we will open three new Florida stores in the first half of 2022 in the bustling areas of Boca Raton, Kissimmee and Santa Rosa Beach. And, we have plans to remodel more of our existing stores like we did in 2021 at Fishermen’s Village, Tin City and Coconut Point.

It’s impossible to predict what 2022 will bring, but I know I am looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. I am grateful for the continued support from our loyal customers and teammates.
