Naples Soap Company, a retail destination known for its skincare line made from natural and organic ingredients, took a significant role in this year’s annual Southwest Florida Heart Ball on April 6, 2019 to benefit the American Heart Association. Deanna Wallin, founder and CEO of Naples Soap Company, and Shelly Church, CFP®of Raymond James, co-chaired the silent and live auctions for the event which raised over $106,000 that night. The auction proceeds totaled 51% of the night’s total raise. The 2019 Southwest Florida Heart Ball activities raised over $500,000. These funds will be used for innovative research, advocacy, and patient support in the fight against heart disease and stroke.

In addition to volunteer time, Naples Soap Company donated $21,000 in cash and Naples Soap Company products for the event.

“We were so fortunate to have Deanna and Shelly chair this year’s auction. They brought a fresh approach to the event, and strong leadership in collecting donations and encouraging participation in the ball,” said Kelly Glewa, Southwest Florida Executive Director for the American Heart Association. “We are grateful for their generous contributions which made the Heart Ball not only beautiful but a big success.”

“Giving back to our local community is so important to me and Naples Soap Company,” said Deanna Wallin. “My father suffered from heart disease, and I am glad I was able to personally get involved this year with my dear friend, Shelly. Our families have both been impacted by the devasting effects of heart disease, and it was our pleasure to help raise money to fund future research to put an end to heart-related illnesses.”
